About our Founder and Chairman, Dr. Francis Palmer
Dr. Palmer is recognized as one of "the world's leading authority" and experts in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.
In his seminal book, What's Your Number...The Palmer Code, Francis R. Palmer III, MD, FACS, describes his revolutionary, ground breaking, aesthetic philosophy and system, The Palmer Code. This all-encompassing aesthetic system is the driving force behind his expanding, network of plastic surgery and dermatological centers, collectively referred to as The Palmer Code Institute.
Dr. Palmer's work is recognized internationally as he teachers and lectures on his unique, aesthetic vision. Frequently appearing as an expert on plastic surgery in both scholarly and general media, Dr. Palmer also serves as a consultant for emerging technologies in the aesthetic medical industry.
In his book What's Your Number...The Palmer Code, Dr. Palmer reveals his trade secrets that literally define what beauty is, and more importantly is not. He is known for The Palmer Code™, his system of beauty principles, that guide his plastic surgery techniques making him one of the most sought after plastic and cosmetic surgeons in the world. British Tatler magazine named Dr. Palmer one of the "World's Best" plastic and cosmetic surgeons in an international review of the experts in the field.
Past Director of Facial Plastic Surgery for over a decade at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, celebrities, socialites and world leaders alike trust him to improve and rejuvenate their appearance through his cutting-edge techniques, state-of-the-art technology and unique aesthetic judgment based on The Palmer Code.
A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Palmer has called Southern California home for over thirty years. An honors graduate of San Diego State University, he received his MD from the University of California, Irvine. Following his residency at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, Dr. Palmer completed a fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is board certified in that specialty. He has also completed a fellowship with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and is board eligible in that specialty. Dr. Palmer has been in private practice in Beverly Hills since 1990, and had a busy practice in London from 1994 through 2000, where he was showcased in numerous UK newspapers, magazines and television shows, including GMTV's Diary of a Face Lift, Sky News and Skin Deep.
Dr. Palmer and his expert plastic surgery techniques have been featured in many broadcast and print media, including ABC's The View, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, KTLA, Fox News, Dr. Phil, Entertainment Tonight, ABC's True Beauty, Allure, Fit, USA Today, Cosmopolitan, Us Weekly, People, In Touch, The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times. When Dr. Palmer is not in surgery, devising a new procedure, consulting in the aesthetic medical field or presenting to consumers, he loves to paint in acrylics, watercolors and oils. Many of his paintings hang in The Palmer Code Institute, of Beverly Hills.
